Crowder All-Big 10 Player of the Year; Three from Tribe Earn First Team Honors and Burton Named Coach of the Year

Bridgeport’s Kristen Crowder has been selected 2018 All-Big 10 Conference volleyball player of the year and the Tribe’s Coach Ali Burton was named coach of the year.
 
The Lady Indians clinched the Class AA state title in Charleston Nov. 10 - the school’s first - and ended their season 41-5-5.
The team’s Payton Hefner and Shea Hefner joined Crowder on the first team while Payton Merica was named to the second team.
Crowder and Payton Hefner are seniors. Shea Hefner is a sophomore and Merica is a junior.
