Fabian Guerra Snags MEC Award for Play of the Year with Football Catch that Made ESPN's Top 10

Fairmont State's Fabian Guerra one-handed catch is the 2014-15 Mountain East Conference Play of the Year.
 
Guerra's 30-yard touchdown reception against Concord garnered national attention being featured as one of SportsCenter's Top Plays. Quarterback Cooper Hibbs rolled to his left and lofted the ball to Guerra who reached across his body among two defenders and came down with the one-handed catch. (Watch here)
 
The MEC Play of the Year was selected by a combination of a fan vote conducted via social media, conference administrators and the league office. Guerra's catch reached over 6,000 people on Facebook and was shared 1,300 times on Twitter, as well as "liked" 740 times on Instagram. Glenville State's Rahmann Lee's 52-yard run against the Falcons garnered the most exposure on Instagram with over 3,363 "likes."
