"I would like to thank Fairmont State Director of Athletics Tim McNeely for the opportunity to lead the women's golf program," Rogers said. "I consider it an honor to be coaching at an institution with such a great athletic history and reputation."

"I look forward to getting to work and rebuilding the program here at Fairmont State into a competitive force in the Mountain East Conference," Rogers continued.

Prior to taking over as the owner and operator of Riverbend Golf Club, Rogers served as a teaching professional at Buckhannon Country Club from 2003-04 and has also served as Head Golf Professional at Glade Springs Resort (2002-03) and Elks Golf Course (1997-02).
