Fifth-Year Senior Cornerback to Leave WVU Football

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 23, 2019 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

According to this report from MetroNews, cornerback Jordan Adams is the latest West Virginia football player to announce that he will be finishing his football career elsewhere.

Adams, a fifth-year senior who has already earned his degree from WVU, said that he will enter the NCAA transfer portal to play his final collegiate season elsewhere. He will be eligible to play immediately.

The move figures to enhance Adams’ chances of playing time as he faced an uphill battle at West Virginia barring major injuries. The trio of fellow seniors Josh Norwood, Hakeem Bailey and Keith Washington were already ahead of Adams on the depth chart, and junior college transfer Dreshun Miller could have leapfrogged him in August training camp as well.
