Host of the Outdoor Channel’s “Fly Rod Chronicles” and Cabela’s Fly Fishing Ambassador Curtis Fleming has been named to the Southern Trout “Legends of the Fly” Hall of Fame.

 

“Thanks to all my amazing fans for your votes,” said Fleming, who resides in Bridgeport with his family. “This accolade means the world to me.”

 

Fleming and other top vote-getters will be inducted into the Southern Trout “Legends of the Fly” Hall of Fame February 3 at the Atlanta Fly Fishing Show. Over 13,000 votes were cast and all of the two dozen nominees received respectable numbers of votes. Only the six nominees with the highest tally of votes will be inducted. Voting participation was quite overwhelming.
