Former West Virginia University Quarterback Talks About His Role in Mega-Hit Movie "American Sniper"

A former West Virginia University quarterback says his role in “American Sniper” as the father of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle is leading to more opportunities inside and outside of Hollywood.
 
 “I don’t think anybody had the expectations of what has happened,” said Ben Reed, who plays Wayne Kyle, the father to Bradley Cooper’s character in the movie.
 
“It’s a great story about a great soldier and I think it has really hit the audience and everybody takes it to heart. I’m very appreciative and very grateful to be part of it.”
