Bridgeport used a strong second half to beat Robert C. Byrd 35-14 on Saturday afternoon at Wayne Jamison Field in Bridgeport. With the win, Bridgeport advances to play Wayne in the Class AA state semi-finals. That game will be played in Bridgeport at Wayne Jamison Field next Saturday at 1:30pm.
