What’s your favorite movie?
Talladega Nights with Ricky Bobby

Who is the best high school athlete you have competed against?
Zach Frazier when he played at Fairmont Senior. He’s just a beast and he’s doing great at WVU now.

Favorite subject in school?
I like Math. It’s hard sometimes, but I like it.

You have to go into quarantine, what three items do you go buy in bulk, so you don’t run out of?
Definitely some water. I would stalk up on some food, throw some chicken in the freezer. Last thing would probably be some more food honestly. I like to eat.

Any pregame superstitions or rituals?
Before every game I have some grilled chicken and some fried potatoes and green beans. My Dad makes it on the grill before every game.

What game of your career sticks out the most?
The state championship game last year against Bluefield. We came out and surprised a lot of people in that game.

Describe Coach Cole in one word.
Intense.

Halloween is coming up, what’s the best candy to get when you go Trick or Treating?
Definitely the Reese’s.

I don’t really know a lot of celebrities. I’m going to have go way back to when I was younger in my childhood and I had a crush on The Little Mermaid.

What music are you listening to before the game to get you fired up?
We have a lot of rap going on in there in the locker room. Nothing in particular, Devin Hill is the one playing the music, so just whatever he throws on.

Any secret talents that most people would be surprised to know you have?
I’m pretty good at frisbee. I can throw a frisbee pretty good.

Who’s the funniest player on the Bridgeport Football Team?
Derek Starkey always has something funny to say and so does Landyn Reppert. And Gavin Tichenor, he always makes me laugh on the sidelines.

I’d like to go to Australia.

Favorite meal?
I have to go back to my chicken, potatoes and green beans.

Favorite pro or college athlete?
J.J. Watt. I’ve always loved watching him play and I try to emulate him a little bit. I like his mentality and intensity out there.

Favorite pro or college team?
Dallas Cowboys.

Who would win in a race between you and your sister (former BHS and current Marshall standout runner Julia Muller)?
Short distance, like a sprint, I got her. Anything over 100 meters, she’s going to beat me. We’ve raced before and she beat me. She smoked me in the 400.

You and Tanner Saltis have become a dominant duo at defensive end. You guys leave school and become pro wrestlers and go after the tag team belts, what’s your team’s name?
He’s going to be Uncle Salty and I have to be Stone Cold Jeff.

The coolest animal at the zoo?
The lions.

We all know lockdown, quarantine, whatever you want to call it was anything but ideal. But what was one cool thing you were able to get out of it?
It gave me a lot more time to get into the weight room. I have a weight set in the basement so I was just working out all the time and getting ready for football season.

When I was a little kid, that Frankfort and Bridgeport championship game. Us coming out and winning that game, I was a little kid but I was fired up.

Just stick with it and listen to what your coaches say. Put in the hard work and trust the program.
