Hosted by Bridgeport Youth Wrestling, Bridgeport Brawl is Saturday at Meadowbrook Mall

Bridgeport Youth Wrestling will host the Bridgeport Brawl, Jan. 25 at Meadowbrook Mall, the former Elder-Beerman Home Store.
Seating will be limited, so it is recommended that spectators bring their own chairs. There is no admission fee.
Registration was open through Jan. 24, drawing wrestlers from all over West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
An estimated 500 wrestlers/fans are expected. Wrestling is expected to take place from 9 a.m. through 7 p.m. Saturday.
Weigh-ins begin at 7 a.m. and opening ceremony starts at 9 a.m. Qualifying matches will take place throughout the day. Winners of the qualifiers will move to the Championship Mat in the WDTV5 Event Center. Championship trophies and medals will be awarded at approximately 5 pm.
AWARDS: 1st – 4th Custom 6-inch medal & champions shirt for 1st place. Team trophies 1st-3rd (Team name must
be entered with wrestler’s registration for wrestler to be eligible for team points) 3" Participation Medals for 4U,6U & 8U age divisions.
Concessions will be available all day at the Food Court and within main wrestling arena.
