The Bridgeport boys’ soccer team season came to a close Friday evening when the Indians lost to host Robert C. Byrd in the WVSSAC Region II Section I final. The defensive battle resulted in a scoreless first and second half and the Eagles thereafter scored a single goal to wrap up the sectional win in overtime. The Eagles move on to regional play Tuesday, Oct. 25 at RCB.

 

The game had been postponed from Thursday night when a thunderstorm swept through the area. At the time the game was called, it was 0-0 with 25 minutes left in the first half.
