Indians Football Team Scheduled to Hold Annual Car Wash Fundraiser Saturday in Front of High School

Football practice doesn’t officially start until Monday, but the football team will be pressed into service a couple days early. And it’s actually become part of another BHS football tradition.
Bridgeport Coach Josh Nicewarner said the team will host their annual car wash fundraiser Saturday. The car wash will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be held in front of the high school.
Nicewarner said you do not need to have a ticket to participate. However, he said they are requesting a $5 donation – or more if you would like – to have your car washed. Nicewarner also said individuals can purchase a ticket in advance from a football team member.
The event will go on barring inclement weather. In that event, Nicewarner said the $5 will be considered a donation as the event will likely not be made up. The funds raised at the car wash are used for the annual spaghetti dinners put on by the football mothers.
