Indians' Sickles Earns First-Team All-Big 10 Honors; Sanders Receives Second-Team Honors

A pair of Bridgeport High School boys basketball players have picked up All-Big 10 Conference honors.
 
Phoenix Sickles was picked as a first-team selection, while Landon Sanders is a second-team selection.
 
Fairmont Senior’s Zycheus Dobbs was named the Big 10 Player of the Year. Coach of the Year honors went to Liberty’s Zak Bart.
 
The All-Big 10 teams and awards are selected by the conference’s coaches and administrators.
 
Sickles, a junior, averaged 9.6 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Indians who finished the season at 20-5.
 
Sanders, also a junior, averaged 9.4 points per game and led the team in 3-pointers with 49.
 
Joining Sickles and Dobbs on the first team are Grafton’s Jacob Maier, East Fairmont’s Jackson Crouso, Fairmont Senior’s Andre Grant, Lewis County’s Ben Putnam, North Marion’s Caden Morris, Robert C. Byrd’s Logan Boyce, Fairmont Senior’s Tre Cumberledge, Lincoln’s Brayden Edgell, Buckhannon-Upshur’s Cater Zuliani and Liberty’s Baush Bowers.
 
In addition to Sanders, second-team selections are Liberty’s Connor Holden, Philip Babour’s Kaden Humphreys , Philip Barbour’s T.D. Bodkins, Lewis County’s Tanner Griffith, East Fairmont’s Maddox Boyer, Lincoln’s Nate Swiger, Buckhannon-Upshur’s Jaden Westfall, Lewis County’s Manny Robinson, Robert C. Byrd’s Manny Holmes and Elkins’ Brock Holland.
