Indians in Four-Way Tie for No. 9 in First Batch of WVSSAC High School Football Playoff Ratings

In the first batch of WVSSAC high school football playoff ratings, Bridgeport (2-1) is in a four-way tie for No. 9 in Class AAA with Musselman (2-1), Woodrow Wilson (2-1) and Martinsburg (3-0).
The SSAC ratings are used to determine the postseason field at the end of the regular season with the Top 16 in all three classes qualifying for the playoffs.
Morgantown (3-0) which handed the Indians a Week 2 loss is currently No. 1 in AAA.
The Class AA field has a strong local flavor to it with seven Big 10 Conference schools in the Top 16 with North Marion (2-0) leading the way at No. 1.
Also from the Big 10, Philip Barbour (2-0) is tied for No. 2. Fairmont Senior (3-0) which travels to Wayne Jamison Field this Friday to face BHS is tied for No. 4. Lincoln (3-0) is No. 9 and is followed by Liberty (2-0) at No. 10, Lewis County (2-1) at No. 14 and East Fairmont (2-1) is tied for No. 15.
Man (3-0) has the top spot in Class A. Tucker County (3-0) is tied for No. 10.
