Key Player for WVU Football Team Arrested Sunday for Allegedly Striking Officer; Ended with Athlete Tased

According to MetroNews.com, Kyle Rose, one of West Virginia’s defensive leaders, was arrested early Sunday morning at a downtown bar after allegedly striking an officer during a fracas that ended with the football player being tased.
 
Rose was charged with a series of misdemeanors—public intoxication, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and battery on an officer—and released on $600 bond.
