Leading offensively were second baseman Payton Merica, 3 for 4; shortstop Emily Riggs, 2 for 3; centerfielder Paige Humble 2 for 3; third baseman Rahvin Hardman, 2 for 3 and Olivia Kesling 3 for 3. The Tribe thereafter went on the road April 11-13, falling to East Fairmont 9-1 and Gilmer County 4-3, then bouncing back with a 10-5 win over Lewis County.

The Lady Indians then earned a 9-5 victory over Liberty High School Saturday and after a few days off to wait out the recovery of saturated field conditions due to Monday’s high waters, was back in action Wednesday, picking up a 9-4 road win over North Marion.
