The NCWV Summer Swim League would like to announce the 2025 Title Sponsor, Buckhannon Toyota. Buckhannon Toyota graciously donated 15,000 to the league.

NCWV Summer Swim League extends their sincere gratitude to Buckhannon Toyota for their incredibly generous donation. Their commitment to supporting local youth and helping our athletes thrive in the pool is deeply appreciated.

“We are super excited for this collaboration with Buckhannon Toyota. It will be another great season and championship meet. Seeing local businesses give back to not only their communities, but surrounding areas, is truly heartwarming," said NCWV Summer Swim League President and Bridgeport resident Ashley Cilento.

Thanks to the generosity of Buckhannon Toyota, the league was able to provide the necessary resources to continue our mission of promoting healthy, active lifestyles for young swimmers in our community. Their donation will go directly toward ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate in our swim league. Some new equipment will also be purchased for the NCWV Summer Swim Championship that will be held in Buckhannon on July 18 and 19, 2025.

“As a native of Buckhannon and with my own children being involved in sports, this is a tremendous honor and privilege. Our Toyota family loves being able to help kids and their families, in the community, excel at the sports they love," Kip Cottrill, General Manager at Buckhannon Toyota said.

It is businesses like Buckhannon Toyota that make a lasting impact, not only through their products and services but also through their active engagement in the community. The values of teamwork, discipline, and dedication that the group tries to instill in their swimmers are mirrored in Buckhannon Toyota’s own efforts to give back and make a difference. Jason Minsker, owner of Buckhannon Toyota, along with his family, have been giving back to organizations for many years.

“We had over 425 Summer Swim Championship participants last year, and there are even more kids in the league. We anticipate an increase in participation for the upcoming 2025 season, and we are super excited to watch it all unfold," Cilento said.

The NCWV Summer Swim League, which has multiple swimmers from Bridgeport, is excited to see how this partnership will help our swimmers continue to grow, both in the pool and in life.
