New WVU Coach Brown Keeps Adding to Coaching Staff with Former Mountaineer Standout Included

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on January 15, 2019 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

According to MetroNews, Neal Brown is bringing a heavy dosage of Troy to West Virginia, but also has room for a former Mountaineers standout on his new coaching staff.

Three more Troy assistants were confirmed to be joining Brown on Monday. The Mountaineers are adding Sean Reagan (co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Jordan Lesley (defensive line) and Al Pogue (cornerbacks/recruiting coordinator), though their specific titles with West Virginia have yet to be announced. Two of their former co-workers are already on staff — defensive coordinator Vic Koenning and offensive line coach Matt Moore.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press and The Gopher Report, former Mountaineers defensive back Jahmile Addae will also join the coaching staff. Addae is currently the defensive backs coach for Minnesota. Prior to that, Addae worked for former Mountaineers coach Rich Rodriguez at Arizona from 2013-17. Addae was a three-time all-Big East defensive back at West Virginia from 2001-05.
