Photos: BHS Swimmers Compete at Salem University

The Bridgeport swim teams were in action Monday evening at Salem University. The Indians competed in a tri-meet against Robert C. Byrd and Fairmont Senior high schools. The meet had previously been scheduled for Jan. 5, but was postponed due to weather conditions. Bridgeport boys placed first in the meet as did the Fairmont Senior girls.
Among the Indians' notable finishes were Kyle Malcolm, Luke Pinti, John Carter and Phillip Malenich, first place in relay medley; Sarah Stallman, second place in individual medley; Marcel Rodriquez and Luke Pinti, first and second, respectively, in a very close IM race; Catie Wilson, first place, 50-freestyle and Jaryn Dodrill, second place, 50-freestyle; Darian Spencer, second place in 100-butterfly; Sarah Stallman, first place in 100-breaststroke, John Carter, first place 100-freestyle and 200-freestyle. BHS boys also captured first place in the 200-free and 200-medley relays.
