Photos: Bridgeport Boys Soccer Team Upsets Robert C. Byrd in Sectional Play

Earlier this evening, Bridgeport's boys soccer faced off in sectional action against Robert C Byrd at Lincoln High School. As is typical in postseason play, the game was hard fought and physical as well as back and forth.
The play was also scoreless until deep in the second half. Senior Griffin Moon managed an amazing goal from around the 20-plus yard mark of the field that got past the keeper for what proved to be the game winner in the 1-0 win. The score came with just over 4 minutes to play.
Bridgeport's girls also won their opening round sectional game this evening 9-0 against Lincoln. Check later on Connect-Bridgeport for a gallery of action from the girls contest.
