Photos: Bridgeport Cross Country Teams Working to Bring Home State Championship Hardware in 2017

Veteran Bridgeport High School cross country Coach Jon Griffith is looking to add to the Indians' state championship hardware this year. Although the defending Class AA-A boys team may not have the experience of last year, there's enough talent to be in the running for yet another crown.
As for the girls, the team returns all of its roster from last year to go along with several new additions. The team has been busy practicing this week, as well as having fun that Griffith stresses, to get ready for their first meet in a couple of weeks.
