Photos: Bridgeport Softball Season Comes to an End in Regional Final

One more win and the Bridgeport softball team could have reached the state tournament, but those dreams came to an end. Bridgeport hosted Berkeley Springs for the regional final Friday evening with the first pitch being thrown at 6pm.
Berkeley Springs scored in the very first inning that pressured Bridgeport the whole game. A rain delay stopped play for about 20 minutes in the sixth inning. Bridgeport came out after the delay to load the bases, but could not capitalize to score any runs. Berkeley Springs won the game 3-1 to advance to the state tournament.
