After losing two closely contested games to Bridgeport in the regular season, Lewis County decided it wasn't going to let it happen a third time. Wednesday evening at the Bridgeport High School gymnasium, the Minutemen punched their ticket to Charleston by upsetting the Indians by a 53-36 score.

 

Bridgeport finished the year at 19-6. Lewis County moves to 11-15. No. 7 Lewis County will battle No. 2 seed Fairmont Senior at 1 p.m. Thursday.
