The Bridgeport girls volleyball team came one game short of playing for a state championship in the WVSSAC Class AA volleyball championships at the Charleston Civic Center. Bridgeport squared off against Philip Barbour in the state semifinals on Friday evening. Bridgeport lost in five sets.
