Photos: Indians End Regular Season Road Trip to Virginia with 2-1 Mark; Begin Sectional Play at 28-2

Bridgeport High School's regular season-ending three-game road trip to Virginia resulted in a 2-1 record. The Indians upended Potomac Falls, Va., Friday by a 15-3 score and beat them Saturday morning 8-5. The team then closed out the trip and regular season with a 5-0 setback to Millbrook, Va.
 
The Tribe closes the regular season at 28-2. The Indians will host the winner of Lincoln and Robert C. Byrd Thursday at BHS.
 
On Friday, Jared Cleghorn went the distance in the six-inning affair. He gave up 10 hits and three runs with no walks. He struck out nine.
 
Elijah Drummond led the way with three hits, while Dante Bonamico, Joe LaRocca and Zach Hineman all had two hits. 
 
Saturday's win against the same squad came with Hunter Haddix pitching five innings for the victory. He struck out five against five hits and three runs and did not walk a batter. Sammy Aloi went the final two frames for Bridgeport.
 
Joseph Dodrill was the only multi-hit player for the Indians. He had two hits. 
 
In the final game, Logan Smith was tagged with the setback after going 5.1 innings. He gave up seven hits, five runs and two walks, while striking out four. 
 
Bridgeport managed just two hits in the game - its lowest output of the season. Hunter Mann and Dodrill had the only hits - singles - for the visitors.
