Photos: Mountaineers Turn Up Defense, Turn Out Lights on No. 18 Sooners in 86-65 win at Coliseum

West Virginia turned up the defense and turned the lights out on No. 18 Oklahoma’s Tuesday night at the Coliseum. The 16th-ranked Mountaineers forced 22 turnovers on their way to an 86-65 victory in which the hosts never trailed.
WVU outscored the Sooners by a 27-12 margin off turnovers. The bench margin was worse as the Mountaineers outscored the Sooner bench by a 55-8 count.
West Virginia had three players score in double figures, led by Jevon Carter’s 18 points off the bench. Devin Williams added 14 and 11 rebounds for WVU.
