After 10-running Robert C. Byrd on Friday, Bridgeport was forced to play Lincoln again, after falling to them on Thursday 4-2. The first pitch was scheduled for 11 a.m., and after that, it was all Bridgeport.

The game was delayed in the fifth inning for about 90 minutes due to rain. After the delay, Bridgeport came out and ended the game with a Joe LaRocca walk-off home run that sealed the game in the fifth inning by the mercy rule 11-1.

Bridgeport's win now ties the post season series with Lincoln at 1-1. The deciding game for the sectional championship will be played on Monday.
