After recently winning the West Virginia Senior Women’s Amateur, Bridgeport’s Caroline Ramsey made the most of her birthday by being in the thick of things at the 91^st Annual West Virginia Women’s Amateur. The event is being held at The Club at Cress Creek in Shepherdstown.

 

Ramsey shot a five-over 76 on the first day of the three-day tournament. Although technically in fourth place, she’s just two strokes behind a three-way tie for first place. Adeena Shears, Sydney Snodgrass and Lauryn Davidson are all knotted up at the top of the leaderboard with a three-over 74.
