Statement from Superintendent Dr. Mark A. Manchin: 

 

HCS remains in constant contact with the WVSSAC, and we have confirmation that if the girls sectional basketball game is not played Saturday and Monday, our teams do not forfeit moving forward in tournament play.  As we continue to support our teachers and service personnel, we are working diligently to schedule the sectional next week.  Additionally, the board will be working closely with BHS administration in order to reschedule the production of Barnum in the future.
