WVSSAC Announces Site for West Virginia Football Championship Games for Years 2020-21 to 2023-24

The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission (WVSSAC) is pleased to announce that Wheeling Park High School, along with the Wheeling Super Six Committee, will be the host for the West Virginia High School Super Six State Tournament for 2020-21 to 2023-24.  The event will continue to be held at Wheeling Island Stadium in Wheeling, WV. The 2020 tournament will be held December 4-5.
 
WVSSAC Executive Director Bernie Dolan released the following statement: “We sincerely thank Wheeling Park High School, the Super Six Committee, the many volunteers and the city of Wheeling for their years of support and assistance with the event.  We are excited and look forward to begin planning for the 2020 tournament.”
 
The West Virginia High School Super Six State Tournament is held annually and showcases playoff winners from high school football teams across the state.  The 2019 winners were AAA – Martinsburg High School, AA – Bridgeport High School and A – Wheeling Central Catholic High School.
