WVU Defense Suffers Yet Another Loss, this One on the Injury Front as Brendan Ferns Tears His ACL

According to the Charleston Gazette-Mail, West Virginia Univeresity football team has suffered another blow to their defense.
Their recent reports states that when fans attended a recent Wheeling Nailers hockey game, they may have also seen a WVU football player in attendance.
One on crutches.
The reason is West Virginia’s defense and scholarship numbers took another hit this week when linebacker Brendan Ferns suffered his third overall career injury and second ACL tear, putting his 2018 season in peril.
The Mountaineers had already suffered a hit to the linebacking corps when projected strong-side starter Quondarius Qualls also suffered an ACL injury.
