WVU Defensive Coordinator Gibson Signs Three-Year Contract Extension Totaling $2.1 Million

Think West Virginia University's football team's defense was improved this year? Apparently, the athletic department believes it has greatly improved under the direction of Mountain State native Tony Gibson. 
 
MetroNews.com is reporting that Gibson signed a three-year contract extentson that pays $2.1 million. The deal makes Gibson WVU's highest-paid assistant coach in the program's history.
