WVU Football Player Arrested in April for Alleged Assault of Police Officer Addresses Media on Situation

West Virginia defensive lineman Kyle Rose sounded contrite Thursday while speaking to the media for the first since his April arrest for allegedly assaulting a police officer at a Morgantown bar, according to MetroNews.com.
 
“I think an apology is definitely needed to be said to the fans and my family,” Rose said. “That’s not how I was raised. That’s not the type of person I am.
 
“I’ve rededicated my life to football and not worrying about extracurricular activities. This is my last year with my brothers and I kind of let them down.”
