WVU Football Team's Defensive Depth Takes Hit as Two Players Have Left Mountaineer Program

According to MetroNews.com, West Virginia University's football team's offseason attrition continued Tuesday with the departures of senior cornerback Jaylon Myers and safety Malik Greaves.
 
Senior cornerback Jaylon Myers and sophomore safety Malik Greaves have left the West Virginia football program.
 
Though both were listed as backups throughout spring practice, Myers seemed primed to compete for playing time in 2015, battling fellow senior Terrell Chestnut. A former junior college All-American, the 6-foot, 194-pound Myers was on the WVU roster a mere nine months, arriving just two weeks before the 2014 season opener against Alabama and appearing in 11 games.
