Tim Squires and Andrew Marsh of the West Virginia University men’s swimming team will compete at the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships from March 26-28 in Iowa City, Iowa.

The first day of competition begins on Thursday, March 26, with the morning session scheduled for noon, ET. The evening session will begin each day at 8 p.m., ET.

“It's an honor to have Andrew and Tim representing WVU at the NCAA Championships. They've been training very well since the Big 12 Championships to prepare for this week,” said coach Vic Riggs. “It's exciting to be going for the second consecutive year. Making it back to NCAAs was a big part of the team's goal at the beginning of the season, and for Andrew and Tim to make the NCAA meet, which is just so hard, I'm very excited for them both.”

Squires, a senior, and Marsh, a junior, each met the NCAA qualification time standards in their respective events to earn a spot in the NCAA Championships.

Squires hit the qualifying mark in the men’s 50-yard freestyle, while Marsh met the qualifying standard in the men’s 100-yard backstroke. Squires will participate in the men’s 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events, and Marsh will compete in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle.

“Andrew and Tim have great seeds and will be in great positions to race well. Ultimately, it comes down to what is your best on race day. If you can swim faster than your seed time, that usually moves you up and that's what they need to do to get a second swim,” Riggs said. “I believe they can swim faster. (Associate head coach) Damion (Dennis) has done a great job preparing them over the past three weeks and now it's time to race.”

ESPN3.com will stream live the championship finals sessions Friday and Saturday. All session not streamed by ESPN will be streamed live on the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships microsite LINK. Coverage of thechampionships will be broadcast on ESPNU at 5 p.m. ET, Wednesday, April 8.
