West Virginia University football Coach Dana Holgorsen released this statement today regarding the status of transfer quarterback Will Grier from the University of Florida. There is still a question as to when he will be eligible.

 

Here is Holgorsen's statement.

 

“Will Grier enrolled for classes here at WVU on May 16. With the timing of his transfer, and the requirements that he has to finish from the NCAA, I cannot officially confirm his eligibility until the summer of 2017.  However, I fully anticipate him being eligible for the opening game of the 2017 season.”
