The Grapevine: Discussion on Opportunity for a Free Education Held in Bridgeport for Pennsylvania School

By Rosalyn Queen on May 26, 2022 from The Grapevine via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Nestled in the hills of Hershey, Pennsylvania, just 25 minutes from Harrisburg is The Milton Hershey School.  It was founded by Milton Hershey and his wife Catherine in 1909.  It offers a top-notch education to children from pre k to twelfth grade at no cost to their families.

This was the message delivered to me and about 25 other individuals last week at a gathering at the Bridgeport Conference Center. Presenting the message was Scott Gregory, Admissions Counselor for Milton Hershey School.  Among those present were two parents from our area whose children are enrolled at the school.

Gregory was in our area to enlighten individuals on the school and to encourage families to get information about enrolling their children in the school.  Some of the requirements for enrollment are come from a family of lower income, be 4-15 years old at time of enrollment, have the ability to learn, be free of behavioral problems, and be able to participate and benefit from the school’s program.

Included at no cost to the families is tuition, housing, meals and snacks, clothing, school supplies, medical care, counseling, dental care, glasses, all activities including arts, sports and 24/7 security. You can learn more about admission considerations at mhskids.org.  You may also contact Gregory at 717-520-2104.

The message is we believe every child deserves a top-notch education. This is why MHS was founded and why it is cost free. Thousands of MHS graduates have found their own way to make a positive impact on the world.  They share their stories for a new generation of MHS graduates

The 4200-acre campus is one of the largest in the United States.  It has 200 buildings, six swimming pools, and a 7,000-seat stadium. If you are interested and you believe MHS would make a difference, they would like to help.  Please contact the above number to talk to a representative.  I urge you not to miss a chance of a lifetime for your child.

Please stay healthy and safe and until next week “Now You Have Heard It Through The Grapevine.”
