The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Bridge Closure/Traffic Delay on County Route 131, Benedum Drive, Saltwell Exit beginning on Thursday, November 07, 2019 from 8 p.m. through Friday, November 08, 2019 at 6:00 a.m.   Night-Time Operation Only.  

 

The purpose for the Bridge Closure/Traffic Delay is pouring concrete bridge deck on the new bridge structure.  The existing bridge structure on County Route 131 will be closed completely. 

 

This is the bridge over I-79 Northbound & Southbound at the Saltwell Exit.  The bridge will be closed to all traffic.  Alternate routes will be I-79 Exit 124 and County Route 279, County Route 131, Saltwell Road, 707, Shinns Run Road. 

 

Use caution and expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
