Closure of I-79 Northbound Rest Area to Begin with No Confirmed Conclusion Date for Bridgeport Facility

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT FOUR OFFICE
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Road Closure on Interstate 79, Northbound Rest Area, Mile
Marker 122.6, beginning on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 6 a.m. through 6 a.m. (24/7) with an end date to be determined.
The Northbound Rest Area (Mile Marker 122.6) will be closed while crews perform concrete pavement repairs on the exit and entrance ramps, as well as the car parking lot area. The closure will be 24 hours a day until work is complete.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
