Coffee, Sandwiches and Baked Goods Just Part of the Menu at Almost Heaven Desserts & Coffee Shop

It's another week for WDTV's "Tasty Tuesday" report and for those living in Bridgeport or visiting, here's a profile on one right in the heart of Bridgeport. If you've tried it, you've probably been back. If you haven't, you may want to consider a visit to this popular locally owned establishment.

Almost Heaven Desserts & Coffee Shop has been serving people in the Bridgeport area for over 10 years. The little cafe offers two things 
that many people love.

"They love their coffee and they love their sweets," said Whitney Layton, a barista at Almost Heaven.
They offer a wide variety of coffee drinks, made-from scratch baked goods, and healthy options like salads and acai bowls, a recent health food craze.
"We have a bakery on Wonder Bar Road where all of our stuff is made, then brought over here, daily," Layton said.
"I usually have a salad and maybe a panini for lunch," said customer Jamus Morrison.
"I like the espresso and I like to get the cobb salad at lunch time," said Justin Post, another customer.
One of the more popular items at the shop is their delicious, hand made cannolis. They also sell cannoli dip, which is their creamy cannoli filling sold with a side of cannoli shell chips.
