FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE

 

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Traffic Delay/Lane Closure on Interstate 79, Exit 125, Saltwell Exit both Northbound and Southbound Lanes, (Nighttime Only) beginning on this evening (Sunday, May 31) at 8 p.m. through Friday, June 5, at 6 a.m.  Alternate routes will be I-79, Exit 124 and County Route 279.   

   

The purpose for the Traffic Delay/Lane Closure is the construction of a new bridge structure on County Route 131 over I-79 North and Southbound, and removal of existing concrete bridge deck on Phase II. 

 

Various single lane closures will be closed nightly on both I-79 North and Southbound Lanes.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
