Lane Closure, Traffic Delays to Last Through Sept. 28 on Interstate 79 Bridge North of Harrison County

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRCT 4 OFFICE
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Lane Closure on Interstate 79 at Mile Post 149.29, the Uffington Bridge, just above the I-68/I-79 Interchange.
The closure will be Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, through Monday, Sept. 28, 2020. The fast lane will be closed, leaving the slow and travel lanes open. The closure will be 24 hours/day.
The purpose for this delay is repair work on the Uffington Bridge.
Expect delays, especially during high traffic times of day. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
