The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Lane Closure on I-79, Halleck Road Overpass, both 

I-79 Northbound and Southbound beginning on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 6 p.m. through Friday, October 30, 2020 at 6 a.m.. (Night-time only) 

 

The purpose of the Lane Closure is the re-construction of I-79 Halleck Road Overpass.  During the construction on I-79, Mile Marker 143, traffic will be reduced to one lane in both the Northbound and Southbound directions while crews begin work on the Halleck Road Overpass.  Expect delays. 

 

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
