And this one features a restaurant that is 33 miles away north of the city off of Interstate 79. Check back to Connect-Bridgeport for future editions of the segment.

FROM WDTV

The Cupcakerie in Downtown Morgantown opened in 2011 after owners Anna Carrier and Janet Williams decided to leave their legal careers for cupcakes.

"She wanted to start her own business and I begged her to do a cupcake store with me, so she did," Williams said.

Carrier added, "Janet's been baking for her children for years, I've been baking with my grandmother and my mom."

All of the cupcakes are baked from scratch daily and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

"The way to get a customer back is by having the best product that's always consistent, and always consistently good," said Carrier.

In addition to regular, mini, and jumbo size cupcakes, they also specialize in cakes and sell coffee drinks.

"What intrigued me was just so many different options and flavors," said customer Caitlin Burton.
