Here's a look at a recent "Restaurant Road Trip" courtesy of WBOY:

Debbie Williams has worked with food most of her life. After working in the oil and gas field, Williams decided to go back to something that’s she always enjoyed.

“My son who was 2 1/2 years into college, still didn’t know what he wanted to do, needed some kind of job, and he always wanted to do restaurant, just because I’ve talked about how much I like serving and cooking, so we decided to do this restaurant," said Williams.

Deb’s Diner has only been open for about four months, but in that short time it’s starting to develop its following.

“So many local people. Small town you know everybody, and hopefully word of mouth gets out, and we can grow it bigger and better," Williams said.

Growing up in a big family of eight kids, Williams doesn’t have to worry about cooking something that patrons won’t enjoy. The diner does home cooked meals with daily specials and soups everyday.  Williams' son Nick said he loves working with his mom and being creative.
