The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a road closure on U.S. Route 50 eastbound and westbound starting tonight (Monday, April 14) through Thursday, April 17, from 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. daily.  Alternate route is County Route 20.

 

The purpose for the road closure is dismantling of the existing railroad bridge structure located just past Sycamore Street Exit going West. Both eastbound and westbound. Traffic will be detoured through Clarksburg using County Route 20. West bound traffic will re-enter U.S. 50 at the West Pike Street exit.

 

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commutes.
