Section of Interstate 79 to See Lane Closures in Area North of City Through October 25; Expect Delays

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Traffic Delay/Lane Closure on I-79, Mile Post 130 Northbound and Southbound Lanes beginning on Sunday, September 08, 2019 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. and will continue through Friday, October 25, 2019.
Night-Time Operations Only.
The purpose of the Traffic Delay/Lane Closure is for painting the bridge structure over I-79. Alternate Routes will be I-79, Exit 125 Northbound and Exit 132 Southbound, County Route 73. Lane Closures will be both Northbound and Southbound on I-79 nightly.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
