Add Designation of "Sharp Shooter" to Growing List of Titles Owned by Harrison County's Robert Martino

Some call him Bobby. Others call him “Doc.” There are those that call him Robert and certainly there are some that call him Mr. Martino or Boss. Now, there’s another title you can add to the long list of names of Dr. Robert Martino.

Martino was recently listed as part of the Class of 2017’s Sharp Shooters. The short list of honorees given that title is chosen by West Virginia Executive Magazine.

The CEO of Wilmar Management (Wilson Martino Dental) and multiple other business ventures is one of 10 individuals picked by the magazine. The honors are chosen annually.

In order to be eligible, the magazine states that those nominated have to be 43 years of age or older, West Virginians and been involved in their business for at least five years, and have “built their reputations on a commitment to career and community success and represent what is great about the past and exciting about the future of the Mountain State.” The magazine claims the honors go to the “best of the best.”

While most recognize Martino for his work with the highly successful Wilson Martino Dental outfit under Wilmar that has 13 dental offices, some may not be aware that he heads four different companies. And all the other businesses are faring well.

In Bridgeport, he is involved with EASW at the North Central West Virginia Airport that is an international based aircraft maintenance company. OraCare is another company he’s involved with that provides a national dental care product. Martino also handles the state-based iSelectMD, a telemedicine company.

While those are companies he’s involved with, Martino is extremely proud of a venture he founded called Freedom Day USA. As chair of the event, it’s a national charity that spearheads businesses providing free services to military members and their families – and his dental offices take part.

Martino, and his wife Lori and children, are involved in numerous other programs throughout the community. Among the family’s favorite contributions is that to the county Humane Society that shows the name the Martino Home For Cats & Dogs. And this past year, he became the girls varsity basketball coach at Notre Dame High School.

Also among the 10 chosen was Jim Estep. Estep is the president and CEO of the highly successful High Technology Foundation that sits just down Interstate 79 north of Bridgeport in Marion County.
