A Marion County man was indicted today by the Harrison County Grand Jury for his role in an alleged 2018 robbery of a bank in Bridgeport. Christopher Figueroa, 36, was indicted on one count of robbery.

Along with Figueroa, the January term of the Grand Jury indicted 71 individuals. Four of those individuals were from Bridgeport.

Figueroa allegedly robbed Huntington Bank’s location at the Home Depot Plaza on Oct. 22. No details were listed as to the amount of cash taken by authorities. No weapon was used during the robbery, according to Bridgeport Deputy Chief Mark Rogers during an Oct. 23 press conference announcing the arrest.

Robert Leroy Fisher, 57, of Bridgeport was indicted on seven counts. The counts included two counts of first degree sexual assault, three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, and two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person of position of trust.

Bridgeport’s Jerome William Hold, 46, faced one count. He was indicted on delivery of a controlled substance.

William Maylen Creighton of Bridgeport, 28, was indicted on several counts. He was indicted on five counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Bridgeport’s James Mason Taylor, 20, was indicted on one count, but it is a lengthy one. The count is threats of terroristic acts, conveying false information concerning terroristic acts, and committing terrorist hoaxes.

The grand jury was once again under the direction of Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney Rachel Romano. Click HERE for a complete list of all 71 individuals indicted and their charges.

An indictment is merely an accusation. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
