BHS Alum Nesler Featured in Latest Edition of West Virginia Focus Magazine

By Jeff Toquinto on July 21, 2014 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Media attention isn’t anything new for Bridgeport High School and West Virginia University graduate Luke Nesler. Although still in his mid-20s, Nesler has become a regular in statewide publications.

Most recently, in December of this past year, he was listed by WV Living Magazine as part of the “30 Under 30” as a mover and shaker in the City of Morgantown. Nesler is a co-founder of Impakt Creative Marketing and Branding, which is situated in Morgantown.

The 2007 BHS alumnus was honored earlier this same year – in August – as being among the first group of young business owners/leaders to make up “The West Virginia Top 10 Entrepreneurs.” The selections were made through the workings of The EdVenture Group and the West Virginia K-12 group, which is part of the West Virginia Department of Education.

So what’s the latest thing for Nesler?

While he’s not been honored with any award, he is back in the media spotlight, which considering his company focuses on businesses integrating the fast-paced needs of digital marketing on various fronts – including but not limited to – social media, isn’t that unusual.  However, he and company co-founder Jeff Welsh were featured in the July/August 2014 edition of West Virginia Focus Magazine.

Nesler’s article us under the “Marketing” section.

“It was a pleasant surprise to be asked to be featured in the magazine. I think that is the most powerful magazine that New South Media has developed. It focuses on the thriving business economy in West Virginia so to be part of that is a very good thing.”

New South Media has several strong publications. Included in their inventory of magazines, Nesler said, is Morgantown Magazine, West Virginia Wedding, WV Living and WV Focus that he’s featured in.

And he’s not the only Bridgeport entity featured.

Under the “Power Lunch” segment, Bridgeport’s Mia Margherita is also featured. The one-page feature gives a brief background on the business, food features and comments from founder and co-owner Scott Duarte.
