Bridgeport Police Asking for Public Help to Assist in Identity of Tuesday Night Mall Shoplifting Suspect

Bridgeport Police are investigating a shoplifting incident that took place Tuesday at the Meadowbrook Mall and are hoping the public can assist in helping land the suspect.
 
According to Officer J.M. Holley, the incident took place Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Holley described the suspect in question as a white male. At the time of the incident,, he was wearing a black hat, gray Vans shirt that was cut off and a pair of dark colored cargo shorts.
 
Other noticeable traits includes what appears to be a cross tattoo. The tattoo is located on the suspect’s right arm. Another noticeable item included a black watch on his left wrist as well as wearing a gold wedding band.

Police also are able to identify the suspect in question’s car. He was driving a red Jeep Wrangler.  The vehicle has a black soft top and oversized tires.
 
The registration on the vehicle cannot be identified.
